BLOG POST 3 - MEME



Introduction

Welcome to my third blog post! 

The premise of this assignment was to create a meme that is original and that allows you to adapt your skills to create a meme that is unique and original. This assignment tested students skills in making memes and making sure they were able to understand how to follow instructions in creating this.

Challenges While Making My Meme

 When putting this meme together I realized the step by step process of making sure everything was laid together smoothly and that everything worked together cohesively was difficult for building a first time meme. Putting John Cena in with the Winchester Brothers and making sure he looked somewhat decent was difficult and I was only able to create my meme with the help of Heagney's videos. 




What I Learned

While making this meme and adding adjustment layers in making sure I correctly followed the assignment, I found that creating and executing a meme is easy to do when you know the directions of what you're doing. I learned how to add layers, add text, and add a person and blur them accurately. Now I can make memes for my whole family. 


I am looking forward to working on other assignments in this class and improving my Adobe PhotoShop and InDesign skills.

Blog Post 2: Business Cards By: Marissa Cohen Introduction  Welcome to my second blog post! This week in my class I learned how to make a business card. I had to follow a rubric on how to make the card and do my best to follow directions in order to produce a well-made product. I think it's important to know that getting the dimensions for the card right are essential, and making sure you use a professional photo when creating the cards is also a recipe for a successful business card. BUSINESS CARD This image before the final preview of the card allowed me to see what I was able to produce and my placement of everything I wanted to be included on this business card. Blog #5 - Swatches

 SWATCHES - 11/23/2021 Introduction : For this assignment, we were tasked with creating swatches behind the inspiration of a photo we were tasked with choosing. For my inspiration, I used a photo I took of myself from fall break when I was in Miami, Florida. From this image, I was able to take three colors - pink, green, and gold - and make them swatches and nameplates.  What I Learned : From creating my swatches and nameplates, I was able to learn what is necessary in creating a professional looking swatch and nameplates that would present well for a future job or other professional endeavor. I think this really helped me for any future assignments, internships, or jobs I may want to pursue and this would really expand my personal portfolio and allow me to experiment with different shades while keeping a sense of fun and lightness out of the entire experience.  Overall Thoughts : When I was completing this assignment, I was a bit confused on how to create the swatch...
